June 20 Nearly All Popfly Invitations Have Been SentOver the past couple of weeks we've been sending invitations for the folks who requested them. At this point, if you requested an invitation through http://www.popfly.com as of yesterday (June 19) you should have received an invitation. If you requested an invitation and haven't gotten an invitation, you may want to request another invitation.
Here's some of what's going on. Right after you request an invitation Popfly sends you an acknowledgement email from suf at microsoft dot com. We see a lot of these acknowledgement emails bounce back because folks signed up for an invitation using a Windows Live ID that doesn't have an active email address associated with it.
Another thing we're seeing is our invitation email being marked as spam. Popfly invitations come from a human's Hotmail account -- typically email addresses such as zazam at hotmail dot com or abreth at hotmail dot com. Although completely valid email addresses, a lot of people have spam filters turned up pretty strictly and Popfly invitations are being classified as spam.
All of which is to say that, if you want a Popfly invitation you should go to http://www.popfly.com, sign in with a Windows Live ID that can receive email and request one, then look for an email from either zazam or abreth.
